Packages to SUZI
Last year when I was planning the wedding, I did a lot of online shopping and had everything shipped to my little sister, SUZI. I think as the wedding approached she was surrounded by boxes. Poor thing!
Now, it's six-months later and I'm planning a baby shower in NC. As always, I'm doing a little online shopping. Also, I had failed to tell my sister about the package's coming her way.
Last Friday, she received a package and was puzzled since she didn't buy anything recently that would have come in as a package.
As she opened the package she noticed something POLKA-DOT! She knew right away....it was ME!
Stay tuned! After the baby shower, I will let you know what had polka-dots!

Carey & Kyle's Reveal Party
This past weekend, Carey & Kyle hosted a "Reveal" Party at their house. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend due to the fact that I live on the other side of the United States, but.....
I get to blog about it which makes me feel like I was there.
The "Reveal party" was to announce and celebrate the sex of their baby. How cool is this idea?
Pink & Blue straws. You know I love straws at a party.
Wow! She's craving healthy stuff??!!
It appears it's all the food.... Carey is craving. :)
THE BIG REVEAL
The cake revealed the sex of the baby.
Carey had the doctor write the sex of the baby on a piece of paper. The night before the party the paper was given to their neighbor, Jen to make a cake.
Carey & Kyle didn't want to know until the party. The suspense would have killed me!
As they were cutting the cake, the crowd around them were screaming of excitement!!!
AND......
It's PINK!!!!!!!!!!! A GIRL!!!
The little girl will be named.....
I'm so excited for Carey & Kyle and can't wait to meet Eliza Lyn. What a great party!

6 months, already?
This morning, I received an e-mail from the wedding channel informing me it's been 6 months since the wedding. I checked the calendar and indeed they were right. Time is just flying by and married life is grand. Yesterday, as we like to call it was our FUN DAY! We spent the day not working but just enjoying each other and taking in the whole day. It was a beautiful day for lunch outside and long walks around town.
Also, to make the day better..... UNC BEAT DUKE! ACC Champs! BAHAHAHA!
Our front yard flowers are blooming!
I know the next 6 months are going to fly by!

Going home soon...
Sometime this month, I will be in my favorite state to spend some quality time with my family and friends. I'm very excited!

Celebrating Three Birthdays
This past weekend, my new family and I got joined forces to celebrate the birthdays of Tom, Ryan and Nicole! It was an elegant evening as always and we had dinner at a new Scottsdale restaurant called Grassroots Kitchen & Tap.
The weather was BEAUTIFUL!! We were lucky enough to enjoy dinner outside on the patio. Sometimes, I feel very lucky to live in Arizona.
80 degree weather in February is something to brag about!
