Happy Birthday to my beautiful Momma!

She was brought into this world to be many things such as a daughter, sister, friend, wife, and..... my mother!

She's one of a kind and I couldn't be more grateful and thankful to have her as my mom.

Today, I wish to be in North Carolina to celebrate and give her a BIG birthday hug.

She knows I'm there in spirit. Love you MOMMA! Happy Birthday!

Friendly Daisies

Over the weekend, Ryan brought to my attention the daisies we planted last year while my parents were visiting. We actually bought them in the rescue section at Lowes. To be honest, I had no clue they had a "rescue section" until my dad told me about it. You're able to buy all kinds of plants for a discounted price but it's risky since all the plants are on their last life. These daisies were a perfect example of that and I think I paid a $1.00 for each. I planted it, gave it a little love, and wished it well. Now, it's a year later and in full bloom! WHOOHOOO!!

When I think of daises, I always think of the movie "Just Got Mail" with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.

Meg Ryan has a line in the movie that reads: I love daisies. They're so friendly.

Don't you think daisies are the friendliest flower?

Yes, I think it's the friendliest flower.

I came across this adorable outfit on Etsy two months before Kelly got pregnant. Immediately, I fell in love with it! At that time, I was planning my wedding but made sure to put this idea in a safe place. As many of you know, I'm always planning for the next event. I have to think AHEAD!! ;-)

I've known Kelly since I was 13 so she's like a sister to me and

I'm so excited that baby Lucas will almost be here.

Happy 30th Anniversary!

Today's my parent's 30th anniversary and I couldn't be happier for them.

They have been excellent role models in my life and forever grateful.

I wish them another 30 ++ of love and happiness.

I'm also really excited because they have something really

special planned for their anniversary and can't wait for their upcoming fun.

You're probably wondering who that adorable girl is in the photo??!! Her name is Yelina and she's our god-daughter. While I was away on my trip, Miss Yelina sent Ryan and I a package all the way from beautiful Hawaii. The package was filled with goodies and a lovely note.

Firetruck Themed Shower: Baby Lucas

I'm finally back from North Carolina and it's time to blog. Last week, I flew to NC to help throw a baby shower for my long time best friend, Kelly. Her shower took place in Charlotte, NC which is about 3 hours away from my parents house. The day of the shower, I was up at 3:30 am to get everything ready for my travels to Charlotte and eventually left the house at 5am. It was a busy busy day as you can imagine but it was a special day for sure. Kelly & Justin's firetruck themed baby shower turned out perfect!

Baby Shower Idea: Baby Blocks

About two weeks ago my best friend, Maya, her sorority sister, Amanda and some other lovely ladies

threw a baby shower for their friend, Jackie.
