Baby Owl

My friend's mother posted  this picture on Facebook yesterday and it made my day.  Those eyes  are so sweet! This baby owl was knocking on their front door all afternoon!  CAN YOU IMAGINE?  I wouldn't know what to do......

Fabric Shopping

Yesterday, I spent my lunch hour searching a warehouse full of fabrics. I'm currently working on a side project for work for an upcoming award ceremony and making some fun runners. As I browsed through all the variations of fabrics, I started to reminisce on my early days in college when I use to be more creative.
My sister and I would visit the fabric stores on the weekend to find fun designs. Once we found something good, our wheels in our mind would be turning quickly! We were successful with many things and I cherish those times with my little sis. As college progressed, my time became limited and my sister continued her journey into the sewing/designer world alone. She has become a talented designer and seamstress. In high school, she made her prom dress and in college, she did several fashion shows.

Suzette Sews!

When I grow up, I want to be just like my sister! The picture below is a skirt she made.
I totally love it and try to steal it every time I'm home ;-)

Sweet Treat

Yesterday at work, I received a "sweet treat" from Kimber & Josh. It was such a nice surprise and grateful for the 20++ years I've been friends with Miss Kimber Lee. She's been such a blessing in my life and always looking out for my best interest.

I was enjoying these goodies last night....nom..nom...nom.... Edible Arrangements!

National Sibling Day

Sibling Day was sometime last week!

Yes, I'm a little late but that doesn't take away from the fact that I have amazing siblings and I love them dearly.

Truly blessed to have them in my life.
Love you J-bird & Suzi-Q

Blair Spring Flowers

Our flowers in our front yard have blossomed this spring and I couldn't be more thrilled. Seeing these lovely flowers every morning brings me so much joy.

I hope they will survive the AZ summer (probably not...but it's ok).

I'm enjoying them now.

Dog Love

Dogs are always giving us love.

These dogs always make me smile. My little protectors!
