First party as Husband & Wife

Last Saturday, Ryan and I held a Christmas cookie exchange for our family. It was actually a chilly and gloomy day here in Phoenix so it was a great opportunity to drink hot cocoa, fresh brewed coffee, and eat some "sweet sweet" cookies. Below are some pictures of the party and my Christmas decor. Everything was home-made!

Today's my father's birthday! HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the most amazing man and father.

He has given the world to me and I'm so grateful for everything. He is an example of what every father should strive to be in life. I love you Daddy and I hope you have the BEST BIRTHDAY! Wish I could be there to celebrate! Enjoy your golf day!!

SUZI Q!

Happy Birthday Sister!

Today, is my baby sister's birthday!! HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUZI Q!!! My relationship with my sister has always been close and I feel blessed to be able to see her grow up into a beautiful, smart and talented young woman. She's my best friend and very fortunate to have her in my life. Suzette has many qualities to take notice but if I can name one thing about her that's my favorite it's HER LAUGH! As long as I could remember, I was always trying to make her laugh and smile.

Yesterday, I was reminded of her laugh as I was on the phone with my mother and in the background my sister was laughing at a movie she was watching. Right at that moment, I was reminded how much I love to hear my sister laugh. My mother has the same laugh as well. It's the kind of laugh that makes you want to start laughing too. It's soft but inviting. I guess today also proves that I miss my sister if I'm talking

about the way she laughs! haha Guilty as charged!

Suzette was my Maid of Honor and I felt honored to have her

right by my side on the most important day of my life. LOVE YOU MISS SUZI!!!

Grown-up Christmas List

It's December!

Wow, I can't believe December is already here! Time is just flying by and I can't keep up. Today, I started my December with a "peppermint mocha" from Starbucks and decorating my office for Christmas. It was a good day.

Adele- Someone like you!

If you haven't heard of Adele then you need to start because her voice is amazing. This morning as I was driving into work "Someone like you" came on the radio and immediately I was sucked in that I forgot where I was going. Adele's music puts me in another zone.

Anyways, it also triggered my memory and I started thinking about the recent SNL skit. I thought you all would get a kick out of it! Enjoy the funny for the week.
