HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELLY! I wish this great friend of mine a fabulous FABULOUS birthday! I have been best friends with Kelly for over 17 years. She has been my protective friend and always looking out for my best interest. That's why she's going to be a great mother. Yes, you read that right! Kelly is going to be a MOMMA!

AHHH...I'm so excited about the little one joining us this spring.

Congratulations to her and her husband, Justin. Exciting times.

Well, Kelly was my second crier! I love all these tears of joy. Makes my heart melt.

Tonight, I can totally relate to this toddler in the photo.... I'm EXHAUSTED! I have had a busy week and all I want to do tonight is sleep.... ZZZzzz. I decided to share some cute pictures and fun videos of animals sleeping! This week is almost over, Happy Friday Eve!

72 days!!

I have tried not talking about Kim Kardashian on this blog but it's an idea whose time has come. Home girl.... GETS ON MY NERVES! Ryan and I are trying to figure out why she's famous?? She's not an actress or singer? What is her talent? Why is she a role-model to young girls? Yes, role model!!?? I don't get it!

I will admit she didn't bother me at first but it now seems her and her family are everywhere.

It's getting ridiculous. I was reminded of that last Friday night when my husband and I went to buy some adult beverages at Total Wine. I decided to stray away from my usual vodka and cranberry and bring out a drink I haven't had since college, Midori!

As I walked towards the check out line, I realized the bottle had some fun Midori receipes attached.

As I read the little booklet and turned towards the back I came upon... yes you guessed it! KIM! URGGGHHHH!!

As I enjoyed my adult beverage that evening, I started to think about Kim Kardashian and her recent failed marriage. It made me sad to think some could get that wrapped up with the glitz and glam to lose focus on the importance of the whole purpose. 72 days! Really?!!

I had to count to see how many days we have been married and 72 days had already passed! I couldn't believe it! It feels like we just got married the other day. I guess time flies when you're having FUN! I married my best friend so it's been easy. I wish Kim luck because money can't buy you love.

RSVP has arrived!

Today, I received this RSVP in the mail.

Yes, this is an RSVP for our wedding. I laughed so hard when I saw it because it's about 2 months too late. What is going on with our mail system?!

Good thing Cristina told me over the phone that she was planning to attend our wedding. She even mentioned over the summer that she submitted her RSVP but we never got it.....till now.

Cristina has been a wonderful friend of mine for over 13 years! We were lucky to have her at the wedding and appreciate the distance she traveled. Love ya chica!

Cupcake Experiment

You're probably wondering why I'm blogging about a cupcake, right!?! Well, doesn't this cupcake look yummy!!

I received this cupcake one day after my birthday and forgot to eat it. 4 days later I realized it was still in perfect condition. Then... I just left it. This picture was taken yesterday.

Yup, that's right....16 days later. Can you believe it still looks like this??!! I decided to try an experiment and see how long this will last. Preservatives! Such a scary thing. I will keep you all posted on my cupcake experiment.

Look what came in over the weekend....

We received our custom license plate & ribbons from our wedding car on Saturday. Now, we need to figure out what to do with it. Ryan wants to put in a custom frame and hang it somewhere in our home. Does anyone have any great suggestions? Currently, it resides on our bookshelf until we figure out what to do with it.
