My grandpa and his siblings

Today, my grandpa would have been 101! He lived a long and beautiful life. He was known for many things but the two things I will always remember were his beautiful orichids (see below) and his love for dancing. Yes, even in his 90's this man was a dancing machine!

This song always reminds me of my grandpa! He loved this song so much! Towards the end of his life, my mom would visit with him and place an ipod in his ears so he could hear this song. He would always show a peaceful smile. He lived his life just like the song says "MY WAY"! That's a great life motto!

Self-Esteem Booster!

This evening, I came home to junk mail, bills, and a card from my best friend, Maya. Immediately, I opened the card to see what the special occasion was since it wasn't my birthday or anything. To my surprise, it was a "You Are So Hot" card! I was a little confused at first and flattered all at the same time. As I proceeded to read the inside of the card it read " I love you, sexy".................( hmmmm... ok?). After reading the card, I thought this has to be a MISTAKE! We are best friends but that's kind of strange, right?!

I called her right away to see if this card was meant for her boyfriend. She thought I was totally joking with her and informed me that she sent a "custom friendship card." Once I convinced her that her friendship card didn't arrive but a "You Are So Hot" card did instead we simultaneously started laughing!!!! BAHAHAHAHAHAHA! THE COMPANY SENT THE WRONG CARD!!

I actually started crying from laughter (those are the best laughs)!!!

Well, who ever was suppose to have the "You Are So Hot" card has my FRIENDSHIP CARD! I'm sure that person is very confused right now!

Thanks Maya for the great laugh!! Totally made my day.

A few nights ago, Ryan and I were at the US Airways Arena watching my cousin, Brandon coach a basketball game. At the end of the game, we had the opportunity to walk the basketball court which was pretty cool!

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAYA! I wish my best friend a fabulous birthday and wish I could be there more than anything to celebrate. She's an amazing person and friend! God only knows how much she means to me. We have been friends for about 15 years and those years have been filled with great great memories and tons of laughter. She's a special person which reflects in all her relationships which is why she has 100,000,000,000,000 friends! Happy 29th Birthday Maya.... next year is the big one!! LOVE YA CHICA!

Happy Birthday Gabby!

Today, it the first birthday of the year and it's my little cousin, Gabby. Ok, maybe she's not so little anymore since she is now 20 years old. Makes me feel old!

Happy Happy Birthday Gabby! I enjoyed celebrating New Years and your birthday with you till 4am! FUN TIMES! Anyways, I wish you a birthday filled of memories and a year full of happiness and success. Love you!
